Scan the Scammer — I had fun with Lewis Anderson, I have attached my email string. The scam is to send you a bad cashiers check, you deposit it and pull cash out of your account and spend less than 50 dollars at staples and then send cash western union to the phillipines. see below

    Dear Representative,

Good day to you, how are you and how is your family doing? I
want to use this means to inform you that your first appointment
envelope/materials as a survey shopper will be deliver to you TODAY depends on
the weather, below is the tracking number from US postal service and you can as
well track it yourself to see the delivery summary this morning via http://WWW.USPS.COM,the package will be deliver to you via the
    regular mail priority envelope

    My response

I received the package just as you had said. I’m going to go
to Staples tonight and see what kind of service they will provide me. I think I
will wear a suit and be very business like.

I think there is a western union at my local grocery
store, I will have to do that tomorrow.

    Jeff

He called me in the morning to get me to go to the western
    union

Lewis you were right! This is a lot of fun and rewarding.

I walked into my local Staples store. I told them I owned a large
business and we ran out of pencils. The clerk said, how many pencils do
you need? He looked crazy at me. I said 2000. He took a long
time but came out of the back of the store with crate of pencils. He
helped me put them in the back of my car. I think he did a good job. They
were on sale so it was only $772.13

His name was Ricky and he looked very young. I got a copy of
his drivers license if you need it.

I think they should hire some older employees. Overall a very
good experience. I am looking forward to tomorrow!

    Jeff

    Lewis response

Okay, you have done a good job at the store and your reports have
been imputed into our database for further review.

Also, i will want you to complete the rest of the assignment
in the morning and email me with all the reports as well.

    Lewis Anderson

    My response

    Thank you Lewis,

I have a copy of his drivers license if you need it. I left
for Walmart this morning to see how there service is. I could not find
anyone to help me. (I think I came too early) I found a nice man named
Jim. I asked him about where they had the milk. He told me just were to
go. I said that I needed many gallons of milk because I was in the ice cream
making business. I bought 30 gallons of milk. it was all the milk that Walmart
had at the store. The cashier was very nice to me as well. her name was
Phillis she has worked there for 12 years. She would not give me her drivers
license but I would give her an A. The good new is that the milk was
pretty cheap. 3.88 a gallon so the whole bill was $135.67.

Am I spending too much? I want to see what they say when I am
buying. If I just bought one gallon they would not have said very much.

I am heading off now to complete my first assignment. Do you
have any more assignments in this area coming up? I am really good at this job!

    Thank you again Lewis,

    Jeff

    Lewis Response

Okay, you have done a good job at the stores and the reports is been
imputed into our database for further review.

Also,i will want you to email me with all the reports of the
2nd assignment{ Western union and Money gram} as soon as you get them done
today so that you can get your next assignment as soon as possible.

    Lewis

    My Response

    Lewis,

I just went to my local Western Union. The employees name was Mark
Collins. He has worked at Western Union for only 2 weeks! He said
that Western Union does not cash checks! I told him I had done this many
times before. I think we need to give him an F grade. Can you put
that on into the database? I asked for his manager and he said he was the
only one there today. Don’t worry, he had no idea I am on an assignment.
I was dressed very professionally. I said I do a lot of business in the
    Phillipines.

I am going in to the Money gram store now. Lets see what kind of a
    score they will get.

Thank you again Lewis you have been very helpful. Thank
you for the call today, it gave me a lot of confidence. I am looking
    forward to the next assignment.

Did I spend too much money at the Staples store? I hope not.

    Jeff

    Lewis response

Okay,i got the reports, also, how much did you send via Western union
? and also,i need the money control transfer numbers for the money sent.

    Lewis

    My response

Boy, you were right! these money places are terrible!
the Money Gram employee was Ralph Perez. He didnt know anything!
He said they didnt cash checks either. I am sorry to say but he
should get a bad grade too. (He would not even give me his drivers
license) Well, I need to get this done so I am going to another
western Union to see if they will cash the check!

Lewis, I might need to start the next assignment soon,
Next time lets just do the stores, they are nicer and at least know what
they are doing. I dont like giving out bad grades, it makes me feel
badly. I think I spent about $900 dollars so far, I hope that is OK.

Favor, Can you send me another check before I get the next
assignment? I think I buy too much. Next time I will just get small
things and save you a lot of money!

    Jeff

He called me again to get the tracking numbers from
    western union

Thank you Lewis you are a great man. The western union was
very easy, I give them an A and I hope you can put that in the database.
I am so happy with this job, maybe I can do three jobs. Lewis lets get
started right away. Can you send me the next check? I think we
should do some other businesses too! I think the 7/11 stores are a good
one. They wear strange hats like they have been in a car accident.

    Jeff

I gave him a fake tracking number and then sent him this.
